What Is The Difference Between An SVL And An SSV?

If you have a big job to do, you need sturdy and reliable equipment to do it. Kubota Construction Equipment has a solid reputation for well-engineered products that are  dependable day after day. Founded in 1890, Kubota was for many years a supplier of diesel engines to other construction equipment manufacturers.

U.S. Market

In 1972, Kubota introduced a line of compact tractors to the U.S., and now they offer a full line of tractors, performance implements, compact and utility class construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden machines, hay tools and spreaders, commercial turf products, and utility vehicles.

SVL and SSV Series

To fill a need for compact but powerful loaders, Kubota has developed the SVL Track Loader and the SSV Skid Steer Loader. Both of these loaders deliver the solid performance and reliability that Kubota is known for.

SVL Series

The SVL series of track loaders comes in three sizes with horsepower ratings of 68.3 hp, 74.3 hp, or 96.4 hp. With its wide tracks, this is a great machine to use on soft or wet ground, or in areas where you want to leave less of an imprint, as on a residential job. The design of this loader allows you to work in tight spaces where maneuverability is important.

SSV Skid Steer Loaders

The SSV series of skid steer loaders are available in two different sizes with horsepower ratings of 68.3 hp or 96.4 hp. The wheeled loader is perfect for working on construction sites or in areas where the ground is hard. On hard surfaces this tired machine will have less wear than a similar sized track loader.

Accessories

All of the SVL and SSV model are available with an open station or a cab, standard or high flow hydraulics, and Kubota offers a large assortment of implements and various bucket sizes to fit any job.
